Teri McElrath is an entrepreneur, author, and creator of the blog Deliberate Luncher. She currently resides in Chicago, Illinois, with an extended community of friends and family.

Teri graduated from Loyola University on the north side of Chicago. She holds a BA in political science. Teri also holds an MA in human services and an MHRM in human resources. Her career spans more than twenty years as a human resource professional for Fortune 500 companies in Chicago.

Teri’s favorite destination is Chicago’s lakefront. In her free time, she enjoys learning new things, dancing, and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys poetry, art, documentaries, and road trips.
